I had to call 2x to get a sales dude’s attention at the drug store. The security guard & him couldn’t seem to tear their eyes away from the women at the beauty counter as they applied their make-up. I wonder if this is how women used to feel when they watched their men slap on paint before heading off to war.

Imagination > Reality
On my way home, I saw a banner in front of a school. In big, bold letters it proclaimed, “BLOOD LETTING DAY.” I began to imagine teachers wielding knives, running down corridors & randomly slashing students. Then mid-smirk I saw, in smaller letters, “Red Cross Organization.” Booo!
